Congress Rejects $175M for Peace Plan

The U.S. Congress dealt President Donald Trump’s as-yet unrevealed Middle East peace plan a blow, declining a request for $175,000 million to be used to set up a “Diplomatic Progress Fund.” The rejection is primarily budgetary and not politically motivated, however, as Congress was in the midst of approving a $1.4 trillion spending bill.
