Gaza Protests Leave Two Palestinian Teens Dead

Two Palestinians, aged 14 and 17, were shot by Israeli forces during the weekly Friday protests at the border fence. The circumstances of their deaths are unclear, but the IDF later released a statement saying, “Throughout the afternoon hours, approximately 6,200 rioters and demonstrators instigated riots along the Gaza Strip security fence. The riots were especially violent and included the throwing of a large number of explosive devices, grenades and firebombs at the security fence. The statement also said that the fence “was significantly damaged in several locations.” The Gaza Health Ministry reported that 66 people were injured in the clashes. Reported by i24 News. Read more…
