Iran Releases Academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert in Prisoner Exchange; Launches Aircraft Capable Ship

Iran released Kylie Moore-Gilbert, a British-Australian academic, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in exchange for three prisoners held abroad. Moore-Gilbert was accused of spying and has been detained in an Iranian prison for more than two years. After her release, Moore-Gilbert stated to The Guardian that “I have nothing but respect, love, and admiration for the great nation of Iran and its warm-hearted, generous and brave people.
