Iraq Protests Leave Dozens Dead

Iraq has also seen protests and riots in recent weeks. At least 100 protesters were killed and more than 5,000 injured in a week of anti-government demonstrations there. The Iraqi Human Rights Commission said that most of the dead were civilians suffocated by tear gas, and those who had sustained trauma wounds from tear gas canisters or were shot dead.
