Hatice Cengiz, the fiancé of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi, has filed suit against Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, under the Torture Victims Protection Act. The suit, in U.S. District Court, alleges that the crown prince and two dozen co-defendants endeavored to “permanently silence” Khashoggi, who was openly critical of the Saudi royal family.
