Kuwait’s King Al Sabah Dies

Kuwait’s emir, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, had died. He was 91. He will be succeeded by his half-brother and crown prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, who is 83. The emir had a storied history in Kuwait, serving as its foreign minister for four decades and ruling since 2006. He was a strong U.S. ally and helped engineer a permanent presence for U.S. troops in the region after the 1990-1991 Gulf War. Reported by Fox News. Read more…
