Libyan Rivals Ink Cease-Fire Deal

A permanent cease-fire is in effect in Libya. The U.N.-brokered deal calls for all foreign fighters and mercenaries to leave the country for at least three months. The deal was signed by military officers from the east and west factions of the country. Libya has been involved in civil war between the U.N.-backed elected government based in Tripoli and forces loyal to Libyan warlord General Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi.
