MK Yazbak Disqualified From March 2 Elections

Arab Joint List lawmaker Heba Yazbak has been disqualified from running for a Knesset seat by Israel’s Central Election committee. Yazbak was disqualified after making Facebook posts critics say show she supports violence against IDF personnel. Likud MK Ofir Katz filed a petition to disqualify Yazbak accusing her of systematic support for “terrorists and spies who have committed horrific crimes against the State of Israel and its residents.” Yazbak says the charges against her are racist.
