Turkey Prepared to Send Troops to Libya

Turkey is allegedly willing to send troops to Libya to back the UN-recognized government in Tripoli. Doing so risks a direct military clash between Ankara and the forces of General Khalifa Haftar. Haftar controls eastern Libya and is believed to be planning an assault to sweep aside the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli.
