Two Car Bombs Kill at Least 34 in Afghanistan

At least 34 people were killed in two separate suicide bombings on November 29, 2020 that targeted a military base and provincial chief. In Ghazni province, 31 soldiers were killed, and 24 others wounded after an attacker drove a Humvee loaded with explosives into an army commando base before blowing the vehicle up. In southern Afghanistan, Attajan Haqbayat, a provincial council chief in Zabul province, survived a car bomb attack that killed three and wounded another 21.
