The Taliban is making more attacks and seizing more territory, and thousands are fleeing their homes. U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo says that the Taliban’s attacks put any peace deal at risk. “I made clear to them that the violence levels can’t continue while these negotiations go on,” Pompeo said recently. “It won’t work.
